Pennsylvania Dutch Sour Cherry Pie
Ingredients
- 1 quart fresh sour cherries, pitted
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- Pie crust (top and bottom)
Directions
- Mix flour, sugar, and pitted cherries in a bowl.
- Fill an unbaked pie crust with the cherry mixture.
- Put on a top crust, vented, and bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes.
- Reduce to moderate heat and bake for 20 minutes more.
